A. Established in 1991, Dr Peter Benedek and Fog Asz Ltd have been providing first class dental treatment from their modern A1 dental practice in the heart of Budapest. Their reputation soon spread, attracting customers from Austria, Germany and surrounding countries who required the very best dental treatment at a fraction of the cost of their home countries.

We use EXACTLY the same implants and materials as are used in the UK and all over Europe, however with a much lower cost base here in Budapest we are able to pass those savings on to you our customer.

A. We accept cash in Pounds, Euros or Hungarian Forints. We can advise you where to exchange or withdraw money to ensure you receive the BEST exchange rates possible.

 

We are also able to accept PAYPAL in Pounds Sterling. Should you wish to use PAYPAL we kindly ask you inform us before you travel.

 

 

Q. "Do I need to pay any money upfront?"

 

A.  NO. You only pay for your treatment AFTER you have received it and are 100% satisfied. NO DEPOSIT and NO PRE-PAYMENT.

The treatments we offer are often designed to be for 10 years, 20 years or life so even after those 5 years we are still here for you should you wish to contact us for whatever reason. As our valued customer we regularly contact our patients after treatment to ensure everything is well and to remind you of our care and commitment to you.

 

 

Q. "How long do I need to stay in Budapest?"

 

A. Depending on which treatment your are receiving it could be from 1 day up to 5 days. Even with a 5 day stay, the price of accomodation will still make your visit worthwhile financially. Please check our website for timescales on particular treatments or contact us with your individual requirements and we shall draft you a no obligation personal dental plan including prices and time requirements.

 

 

Q. "What happens if I return home and need to contact a dentist?"

 

A.  We are always available for you! As our customer you will ALWAYS have DIRECT CONTACT with your dentist during and after your treatment. You may call, email or even have a face-to-face video chat at any time should you wish. If you feel you need to see a dentist personally and can't return to Budapest then we can arrange for you to visit a dentist local to you and cover you for any applicable costs. Peace of mind is all part of our ethos.

Q. "Who can I contact during my stay in Budapest?"

 

A. 24/7 we are there for you! From the moment we meet you at the airport until we chauffeur you back for your return flight you will have access to our 24/7 customer care and exclusive Concierge service. As our guest we endevour to ensure your stay in our beautiful city is memorable both for our service and as you enjoy your leisure time. 

Our team are experts in travel and tourism and can provide you with information on what to see, where to visit, tours, attractions as well as booking restaurants, shows, etc.  We can even create an itinerary, personalised for your own tastes so you can make the most from your stay. This is all complimentary and part of our service.

 

 

Q. "Do I need travel insurance?"

 

A. As an EU citizen, if you are travelling to Budapest or anywhere within the EU you are covered for visits to a GP and emergency hospital treatment just as in the UK, Ireland or your home country with the EHIC heath card. (Previously known as the E111 health card.)  This is FREE and available to everyone.

Note, this does not replace individual travel insurance for situations such as loss of belongings, therefore should you wish to purchase travel insurance for your visit this is available for just a few Pounds/Euros. We are happy to advise you on travel insurance if you wish.

 

 

Q. "If I am in Budapest for a few days what can I do with my free time?"

 

A.  Often referred to as "The Pearl of the Danube", this beautiful, vibrant city has so much to offer for everyone's tastes. History, culture, amazing architecture, combined with a Parisian style cafe culture makes it the perfect place to see and do as little or as much as you like. 

 

Perfectly sized for leisurely walks you can choose to see Budapest by foot and/or combine with a city tour. Bus tours of the city are highly recommended. These are priced at only £12 for a 2 day pass and INCLUDE a boat trip along the Danube so you can experience another view of this delightful city.

 

Cafes and restaurants serve Hungarian and international cuisine to suit all tastes and all budgets. A two course lunch for less than £3? Possible. A quality 3 course evening dinner in a beautiful 19th century classic building for £15? Possible.

TRAVEL

 

Q. "How do I travel to Budapest?"

 

A.  Flights are available from all over the UK and Ireland including Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Stansted, Manchester, Edinburgh, Leeds, East Midlands, Bristol and Dublin and take between 2 and 2.45 hours depending on where you are travelling from.

 

Alternatively, if you do not wish to fly, there are daily luxury coach services from London Victoria or even enjoy a scenic road trip and drive yourself from the UK, possibly visiting some attractions on the way. Our staff have travelled by all modes of transport and can advise you if you do not wish to fly but would still like to take advantage of our fantastic service and treatmants.

 

 

Q. "How do I arrange flights?"

 

A. Easy! You tell us when you would like to visit then sit back and let us do the rest! We search for the best deals with all airlines for all dates then provide you with information on the best deals. This is all part of our service. There is no obligation to book anything at all until you have had time for yourself to decide what is best for you. Of course, you may search for flights yourself, we are always here should you need us!

 

 

 Q. "Do I need a visa to travel to Budapest?"

 

 A.  No. As a citizen of the European Union you do not require any visas or documents.

 

Should you hold a non-European passport you may enter Hungary with a Schengen Visa.

Q. "Will I be met at the airport?"

 

A.  YES. Our Customer Care Representative will be clearly visible and waiting for you in the arrivals hall of Budapest's Terminal 2B.

 

 

They will chauffeur you and your travel companion(s) (should you have any) the 20 minute journey to the city centre. 

 

We shall also pick you up and drop you off to and from the dental practice and your accommodation and of course take you to the airport for your return flight.

 

 

ACCOMMODATION

 

Q. "How do I arrange accommodation for my stay in Budapest?"

 

A. Leave it to us! As with flights, simply tell us which dates are convenient for you and our expert team will search for the best deals to suit all budgets and levels of comfort.

 

Hotels and apartments are plentiful and extremely good value.

 

Prices start from as little as £18 per night!

 

We shall provide you with many options showing you photos, reviews, facilites, location etc... so you may then take your time to decide which is best for you.We can book for you or you may search and book your accommodation yourself.

 

Our team are always available to advise you should you have any questions on a particular accommodation you have in mind.

ACCESSIBILITY

 

Our brand new (August 2014) practice is located on the ground floor and is fully accessible for wheelchair users and persons with reduced mobility.
